About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Palliative Medicine physician to join its Northshore region in Slidell, Louisiana. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with over 36,000 employees and more than 4,600 physicians across 90 specialties, operating 47 hospitals and 370+ health and urgent‑care centers throughout the Gulf South. The position provides both inpatient and outpatient palliative care with a focus on outpatient services.

Key responsibilities

Deliver inpatient palliative care to a daily census of 15‑20 patients.
Provide outpatient palliative care to a daily census of 4‑6 patients.

Required profile

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Medicine.
Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with no weekends.
