Board Certified Gastroenterologist – Clinical & Hospital Role

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to provide both clinic and hospital consultation services in the Diamondhead, Mississippi area. The position offers a balanced schedule with no after‑hours call.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital consultations.
• Perform upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies.
• Manage care for patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
• Provide consultative support to the emergency department and inpatient services.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Willing to work at Bay St. Louis and Diamondhead, MS, with no after‑hours call.

Required skills

• Upper endoscopy.
• Lower endoscopy.
• Inflammatory bowel disease management.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
