About the role
This position supports the Multi‑Vendor Biomedical business with our clients. It is responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, and service biomedical equipment at customer sites.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and service repair on equipment using service manuals, OJT, OEM or third‑party training.
- Identify and resolve customer issues, communicate appropriately, and involve site service personnel as needed.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by demonstrating ownership, urgency, and prioritisation based on site manager or customer input.
- Independently complete PMs, FCOs, installations and diagnose electronic, network, and mechanical problems.
- Travel up to 50% to accounts throughout the West Zone.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment (biomedical, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps preferred).
- Associate degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors and computer hardware, including applications, programming, and systems functionality.
- Ability to apply electronic, mechanical and networking theory to install, diagnose and repair equipment.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, on‑call rotations and to travel by car and airplane.
