Biomedical Equipment Technician – Greenville, SC

About the role

This field‑service position is responsible for managing customer relationships by installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining biomedical equipment at customer sites. The role generates service revenue while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and service repairs on equipment using service manuals, on‑the‑job training, OEM or third‑party training.
• Identify and resolve customer issues, communicate effectively, and involve appropriate site service personnel.
• Independently complete preventive maintenance (PMs), field corrective orders (FCOs), installations, and diagnose electronic, network, and mechanical problems.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience servicing medical equipment such as patient monitors, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pumps.
• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards and schematics.
• Understanding of processors, computer hardware, applications, and programming.
• Ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and test equipment.
