BIM Modeler – HVAC & Plumbing

About the role

The BIM Modeler will create accurate HVAC and plumbing BIM models and fabrication drawings that support project teams and field operations. Working closely with the BIM Manager and Project Managers, you will ensure models are coordinated, constructible, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC shop fabrication drawings and 3D BIM models from consultant plans, redlines, and field sketches.
• Develop and maintain constructible models using Revit, AutoCAD and related BIM tools throughout design and construction phases.
• Coordinate HVAC models with architectural, structural, plumbing and other trade models, communicating conflicts to the BIM Manager.
• Perform basic design calculations such as duct and pipe sizing, air velocities and pressure drops.
• Mentor less‑experienced BIM team members and support continuous improvement of BIM processes.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of BIM experience, preferably in HVAC or plumbing disciplines.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, office and field workflows, and cloud‑based collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a self‑motivated work ethic.
