Bilingual Removal Defense Immigration Paralegal (Remote)

About the role

Peek Law Group is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Removal Defense Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys handling removal and deportation defense cases. This is a long‑term remote position that requires consistent availability during U.S. business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, prepare, and assemble motions, petitions, and supporting documents for immigration court, including asylum and cancellation of removal cases.
• Organize case files, manage deadlines, and ensure timely communication and updates to clients.
• Conduct legal research to stay current on removal‑related immigration laws, regulations, and policies.
• Maintain regular client communication, providing case updates and answering inquiries.
• Support attorneys in case preparation, research, and client interactions.
• Independently manage the assigned attorney’s docket to ensure smooth case progression.

Required profile

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with U.S. immigration removal or deportation cases, including work with EOIR.
• Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with U.S. legal procedures and immigration court documentation.
