Bilingual Dental Medical Virtual Assistant (English/Spanish)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, patient‑focused Bilingual Dental Medical Virtual Assistant to support our remote dental practice. The role involves handling patient communications, scheduling, and insurance processes in both English and Spanish, ensuring smooth daily operations for a U.S. dental team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound calls, emails, and inquiries in English and Spanish.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm dental appointments.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and benefits.
• Obtain and follow up on dental insurance pre‑authorizations and determinations.
• Assist with treatment plan coordination and communicate insurance details to patients.
• Process payments, track outstanding balances, and handle patient check‑in/out.
• Maintain accurate patient records while complying with HIPAA.
• Support dental claims and other insurance‑related administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a U.S. dental practice front office.
• Proven remote work experience in a dental setting.
• Fluent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of dental terminology, coding, and insurance workflows.
