About the role

The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is seeking an enthusiastic Barista to deliver high‑quality coffee and beverage service in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment. You will be a key part of the hospitality team, creating lasting first impressions for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to Hyatt standards.
• Assist guests with food orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and restock supplies as needed.

Required profile

• Strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a high‑energy setting.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 10‑20 lb.
• Excellent verbal communication and a fun, energized personality.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Experience in food & beverage service (preferred).
• Cash handling and basic point‑of‑sale operation.
