AutoCAD Designer – Security Systems for Embassies

About the role

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented AutoCAD Drafter to join its Federal Solutions team. In this role you will develop and design security systems for embassies and consulates worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize a CAD workstation to prepare engineering drawings, including standard arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, and isometrics.
• Collaborate with other designers, drafters, and engineers to ensure coordinated and accurate designs.
• Read and interpret orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) designs as well as supplier and manufacturer drawings.
• Make required changes, additions, and revisions as directed by the immediate supervisor.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree (2‑year technical degree) or equivalent is preferred.
• No security clearance is required for this position.

Required skills

• Proficiency utilizing CAD software.
• Knowledge and experience with computer software used in design assignments.
