Associate Vice President – Luxury Hospitality Communications

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Vice President to lead integrated communications strategies for luxury hospitality clients. The role blends data‑driven insight with creative storytelling to drive audience growth, engagement and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and ensure client satisfaction across a portfolio of luxury hospitality accounts.
• Lead and mentor a team of three account professionals, overseeing training, coaching and performance.
• Develop and execute media relations, influencer programs, crisis communications and strategic events.
• Write and edit press releases, media alerts, pitches and other client communications.
• Maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers; secure national, magazine, TV and digital coverage.
• Produce monthly and quarterly performance reports and stay current on industry trends.

Required profile

• 7+ years of luxury travel/hotel/hospitality PR experience, including hotel openings.
• Minimum 3 years supervising junior team members.
• Proven ability to resolve client issues quickly and efficiently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with reporting platforms such as Muck Rack, Meltwater and Tagger.
