About the role
OLAPLEX is seeking an Associate Manager to lead community engagement across its social platforms. This hybrid position will work closely with the Consumer Engagement and Social Media leadership teams to amplify the brand’s voice among hair professionals and consumers.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Sr. Director, Consumer Engagement and Sr. Social Media Manager in strategy and campaign planning for Instagram and TikTok.
- Lead secondary channel strategy and execution to reinforce cross‑functional messaging.
- Identify target audiences, craft key messages, and select optimal social channels to maximize reach.
- Set division goals aligned with business objectives, including benchmarking, KPI measurement, and trend tracking.
- Manage day‑to‑day community interactions on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms, ensuring brand‑consistent, timely responses.
- Contribute to content calendar development aligned with product launches, events, and retail calendars.
- Act as a trusted brand voice, providing accurate product education and correcting misinformation.
- Facilitate community triage processes to surface and resolve inquiries or issues.
Required profile
- Highly organized, self‑motivated, and detail‑oriented.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Professional experience building and managing online communities.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, analytics, and data‑driven optimization.
- Ability to collaborate with Creative Services, Influencer, PR, Marketing, and Digital teams.
