Director of Internal Communications

About the role

Quantinuum is seeking a Director of Internal Communications to lead the global internal messaging strategy for its Broomfield, CO headquarters. The role will shape executive communication, ensure consistent storytelling, and partner closely with senior leaders to drive clarity and confidence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute the global internal and executive communication strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Drive CEO and leadership messaging across town halls, all‑hands, videos, emails, and thought‑leadership platforms.
• Integrate business strategy, performance updates, and change initiatives into a cohesive communication rhythm.
• Oversee company‑wide communications including newsletters, crisis communications, and major change roll‑outs.
• Develop executive toolkits such as talking points, FAQs, and cascade materials.
• Continuously improve communication channels, formats, and engagement methods.
• Set editorial direction, tone, and quality standards for all internal channels.
• Measure communication effectiveness through engagement, reach, and employee understanding metrics.
• Partner with employee engagement teams and manage the employee intranet to maximize impact.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of proven experience leading internal and executive communications in a complex, global environment.
• U.S. Person status as defined by contractual and national security requirements.
• Background in high‑technology or scientific organizations, preferably with scaling or public‑company experience.
• Strong track record of partnering with senior leadership and advising at the executive level.
• Exceptional ability to translate strategy into clear, compelling messaging.
• Experience in organizational change, transformation, and high‑impact communication delivery.
• Strong editorial judgment and a data‑driven approach to measuring impact.
