Associate Language Services Advisor

About the role

Translation Excellence, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, enthusiastic Associate Language Services Advisor for its in-person office in Aurora, Colorado. You will support clients by assessing their needs and recommending tailored language solutions, working closely with senior advisors. This entry-level position develops skills in client relationship management, project coordination and language service expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior advisors to evaluate client language service requirements and gather project details.
• Advise on language services, including translation, interpretation, localization and related solutions.
• Develop and present customized proposals aligned with client objectives, budget and timelines.
• Coordinate projects, including scheduling, resource allocation and project tracking.
• Maintain communication with clients, linguists and internal stakeholders.
• Check deliverables for accuracy and adherence to client specifications.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries, give regular project updates and measure satisfaction.
• Stay informed on industry trends and technologies, and help improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in linguistics, communication, translation or a related field preferred.
• Strong passion for languages and interest in a career in language services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in at least one other language is highly desirable; familiarity with translation, interpretation, localization or transcription is advantageous.
• Organized, able to manage multiple projects and work independently and in a team.
• Adaptable to learning new tools and customer-focused.
