Associate Director, Strategy

About the role

Spark Foundry, part of Publicis Groupe, is hiring an Associate Director, Strategy in New York. The Associate Director is the day-to-day steward on media issues for assigned brands, including accurate budget control and the flow of online media activity. They must build a strong knowledge of each client's business and apply their media understanding to meet client needs and objectives, working closely with managers on media recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage budgets and online media activity for assigned brands
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, building trust and authority on behalf of the agency
• Manage timelines, projects and personnel within a direct report team and across cross-functional teams
• Handle multiple work streams at once in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
• Lead in-person meetings with key clients on a daily basis

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in digital media planning, buying and management with progressively greater responsibility
• Previous experience leading a team and helping people grow
• Track record of successful media negotiations and client relationships with vendors and reps
• Strategic, critical thinking and the ability to explain complex ideas simply
• Active interest in digital gadgets and communities such as tablets, smartphones, social networks, apps and blogs

What we offer

• Pay range of USD 97,375 to USD 155,961 per year, depending on skills, qualifications and experience
