Associate Director of Annual Giving & Chapter Communication Services

About the role

The Associate Director of Annual Giving & Chapter Communication Services leads the Foundation’s annual giving programs and chapter‑based communications. This senior, full‑time position designs and executes multi‑channel solicitations, stewardship initiatives, and donor engagement strategies to build a sustainable tradition of annual support.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for 10‑15 Chapter Development Services (CDS) clients, creating communication strategies, proposals, and production schedules.
• Generate, edit, and deliver tailored email, direct‑mail, social‑media, phone, and volunteer‑engagement content.
• Oversee execution of contracted communication deliverables and support CDS teams beyond core services.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end client events, including planning, registration, invitations, materials, and follow‑up.
• Maintain client relationships, monitor changes, and recommend service improvements.
• Ensure all outreach materials follow brand and design standards.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the national GivingTuesday challenge program.
• Collaborate with Foundation staff to develop comprehensive stewardship strategies for donors and their families.
• Establish accurate information‑sharing processes to support coordinated donor engagement.

Required profile

• Strong appreciation for the role of annual giving and stewardship in nonprofit development.
• Ability to drive performance metrics such as total dollars, participation rate, consistency, average gift size, and data quality.
• Experience managing multiple client relationships and delivering multi‑channel communications.
• Proven track record in coordinating large‑scale fundraising events and campaigns.
