Associate - Corporate Strategy

About the role

The Corporate Strategy Associate will work directly with Lazard’s senior leadership, supporting the CFO, CEO and other C‑suite executives. This position offers high‑visibility exposure to firm‑wide strategic initiatives and accelerated professional development within a collaborative, cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analyses and workstreams aligned with Lazard’s 2030 strategic priorities.
• Conduct market, financial and competitive analyses to inform senior‑leadership decisions.
• Build and maintain quantitative models and analytical frameworks for strategic decision‑making.
• Track, interpret and synthesize KPIs and operating metrics for executive reporting.
• Translate complex analysis into concise insights, narratives and executive‑level presentations.
• Support board‑related workstreams by synthesising cross‑functional inputs and framing strategic topics.
• Develop trusted relationships across the firm to facilitate coordination and execution discipline.

Required profile

• Ability to own discrete workstreams and deliver high‑quality analytical output.
• Experience collaborating with senior leaders and handling confidential, time‑sensitive assignments.
• Strong communication skills for presenting insights to executive audiences.
