Assistant to Film Producer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Assistant to support our Film Producer on multiple productions. This role provides essential administrative and logistical support, ensuring the producer’s schedule, travel, and documentation run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Copy, distribute, and manage scripts, schedules, and rundowns.
• Monitor film schedule changes and script rewrites across projects.
• Maintain the producer’s business and personal calendar, arranging travel and accommodations.
• Process expense reports, handle gift‑sending, errands, and office organization.
• Assist with script breakdowns to identify key production elements.
• Support intern onboarding, training, and coordinate informational experiences.
• Compile weekly production budget reports.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion with all documents and information.

Required profile

• Prior executive assistant experience in TV or feature film environments, preferably at a studio or network.
• Minimum one year of experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Willingness to work overtime, flexible hours, and be based in New York, NY.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States and age 18 or older.
