Assistant Store Manager - Circle K

About the role

Circle K is looking for an Assistant Manager for its station in Glen Dale, West Virginia (18 Wheeling Ave). The position is full time, with evening shifts and weekday and weekend availability required. You will support the Store Manager in overseeing station operations and help deliver fast, friendly service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with oversight of station operations
• Help with hiring, supervise and work with staff to complete daily tasks, bookkeeping and merchandising
• Maintain high standards and provide fast, friendly customer service
• Provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
• Apply a sense of urgency, patience and leadership, and set an example for the team

Required profile

• Retail experience
• Supervisor or management experience
• Recruiting, hiring and interviewing skills
• Experience handling food
• High school or college degree
• Ability to stand or walk up to 8 hours, lift up to 30 pounds overhead and occasionally up to 60 pounds, bend and twist, and climb ladders to store and retrieve materials
