Assistant Professor of Management (9‑month tenure‑track)

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeks a tenure‑track Assistant Professor in Management for a 9‑month appointment. The position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, contributing to departmental service, and engaging with the regional business community.

Key responsibilities

• Teach required Management courses each semester, with classes scheduled in the mornings, evenings (one night per week), and/or online.
• Potentially teach up to two additional summer courses (subject to funding and departmental need) for supplemental compensation.
• Participate in university, college, school, and department committees.
• Develop relationships with local businesses to enhance student learning and research opportunities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or DBA in Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Leadership, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Commitment to scholarly activity and service consistent with a tenure‑track faculty role.

Required skills

• Strong communication and presentation abilities for classroom instruction.
