Assistant Professor of Clinical Diagnostic Radiology (Neuroradiology)

About the role

The Division of Neuroradiology at the University of Miami Health System seeks a fellowship‑trained radiologist for a full‑time faculty position on the clinical educator track. The role involves interpreting imaging studies, providing coverage, teaching trainees, and participating in research.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret plain‑film, CT, and MR studies for multiple facilities, including Jackson Memorial Hospital and University of Miami Hospitals.
• Provide remote and on‑site coverage on a rotating evening schedule (3‑week block).
• Teach radiology residents, medical students, and neuroradiology fellows.
• Engage in clinical consultation, service duties, and potential research projects.

Required profile

• Completed radiology residency and passed the ABR core exam (or ABR‑certified).
• Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Fellowship‑trained in Neuroradiology and eligible for CAQ certification.

Required skills

• Interpretation of plain‑film radiographs.
• CT imaging interpretation.
• MRI imaging interpretation.
