Assistant Manager, Food Services

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Food Services will support the management of hospital café operations within the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). This position works closely with the Food Services leadership team to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality service for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily operations of hospital cafés and food service areas.
• Support staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
• Help maintain compliance with health, safety, and university policies.
• Contribute to inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
• Provide excellent customer service and address service issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Current University of Arkansas System employees may apply through internal Workday channels.
