Event Staff – Extra Help for JSC Games

About the role

The Jack Stephens Center is seeking extra help to support game‑day and athletics events. As an Event Staff member you will work directly with the Director and Assistant Director of Facilities and Game Operations, ensuring smooth operations for spectators, athletes, and staff during events.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor entry doors to control access and verify ticket purchases.
• Greet faculty, staff, guests, and families, providing courteous customer service.
• Assist with the upkeep and appearance of the JSC facilities, including concessions and suite areas.
• Support set‑up and tear‑down of events, ensuring equipment and signage are correctly placed.
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming environment throughout the venue.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Prior experience working at athletic or large‑scale events.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during the sports season.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
