Food Services Assistant – Auxiliary Services

About the role

The University of Arkansas Community College Rich Mountain is seeking a Food Services Assistant to support its Auxiliary Services department. This seasonal, fixed‑term role provides hands‑on experience in campus food service operations while contributing to a welcoming dining environment for students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and service in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Perform basic clerical tasks such as order entry, inventory tracking, and record keeping.
• Support the Food Preparation Coordinator and report to the Director of Auxiliary Services.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to state and federal food service regulations.
• Ensure reliable attendance and foster positive, collaborative relationships with coworkers.
