Assistant General Manager - Taco Bell, Eagle Pass, TX

About the role

Taco Bell is looking for an Assistant General Manager in Eagle Pass, TX, to support the Restaurant General Manager and take charge of daily restaurant operations in the GM's absence. The role involves upholding brand standards, training and coaching the team, and working a 50-hour week.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
• Oversee team members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards and uphold Core Excellence
• Take charge of restaurant operations in the GM's absence and make key decisions
• Collaborate with the GM on team performance assessments, give constructive feedback, and handle employee relations issues or escalate them
• Assist with sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring team members, promoting equity, inclusion and belonging
• Help manage profit and loss, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance and labor management, and review financial reports
• Support the GM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are followed

Required profile

• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
• Strong communication skills for performance appraisals, disciplinary action and training
• Ability to follow corporate policies, procedures and occupational health and food safety standards
