Assistant General Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

As an Assistant General Manager you will support the Restaurant General Manager in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining brand standards at a Taco Bell location in Greenfield, OH. You will lead by example, train and coach team members, and step in to run daily operations when the GM is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing guest needs.
• Oversee shift excellence, food safety, and core operational standards.
• Take charge of restaurant operations in the GM’s absence, making key decisions.
• Collaborate with the GM on team performance, provide feedback, and address employee relations issues.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members while fostering equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Support profit & loss management, cash control, inventory, labor scheduling, and financial reporting.
• Maintain facility standards, health and safety compliance, and assist with maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Strong communication skills for performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and employee motivation.
• Ability to train and develop staff, ensuring proper resources and knowledge.
• Commitment to Taco Bell’s culture, values, and inclusive environment.

Required skills

• Experience with P&L management, cash control, inventory, and labor management.
• Knowledge of corporate policies, occupational health, and food safety standards.
