Banquet Server

About the role

The Banquet Server will set up banquet rooms and serve food and beverages according to guest service and sustainability standards. This position offers a clear growth path from Banquet Server to Banquet Captain, Assistant Banquet Manager, and Banquet Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms as instructed by the supervisor.
• Attend roll‑call meetings before events to learn function particulars.
• Serve food and beverages in the order and manner required by the supervisor.
• Replenish beverages, remove dishes promptly, and check guest satisfaction.
• Respond to special guest requests and resolve complaints.
• Abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Food service experience is a plus.
• Ability to remember and recite menu items.
