About the role
We are seeking a hands‑on Assistant General Manager to support daily hotel operations, strengthen team performance, and ensure an excellent guest experience at the Fairfield Inn in Chester, VA.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the General Manager to lead daily hotel operations.
- Support Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Maintenance to keep the hotel guest‑ready.
- Coach associates and reinforce service and performance expectations.
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and follow‑through.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, labor controls, and operational reporting.
- Uphold Marriott brand standards, cleanliness, and safety practices.
Required profile
- Hotel leaders with supervisory or management experience.
- Strong operational knowledge and a track record of developing teams and delivering results.
- Marriott experience preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
