About the role
A hotel leadership position is open at the Fairfield Inn in Chester, Virginia. The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager, strengthens daily operations and delivers a great guest experience. The role suits an experienced Front Office Manager, Operations Supervisor or current AGM looking for a new challenge.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the General Manager to lead daily hotel operations.
- Support Front Desk, Housekeeping and Maintenance so the hotel stays guest-ready.
- Coach associates and reinforce service and performance expectations.
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and follow-through.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, labor controls and operational reporting.
- Uphold Marriott brand standards, cleanliness and safety practices.
Required profile
- Supervisory or management experience and strong operational knowledge.
- Track record of developing teams and delivering results.
- Marriott experience preferred; current AGMs are encouraged to apply.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed is essential.
