Assistant Electrical Project Manager – Greater Chicago

About the role

Dubak Electrical Group LLC is growing and seeking an Assistant Electrical Project Manager to join its Greater Chicago area team. This role offers the opportunity to assist with managing diverse electrical construction projects across multiple industries and locations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout.
• Assist with budgeting, scheduling, change management, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labor resources, and field supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Maintain client relationships and support business development efforts.

Required profile

• Electrical field experience on industrial or commercial projects (preferred).
• General knowledge of mechanical, civil, and structural work.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including technical writing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Self‑motivated with leadership and time‑management skills.
