Assistant Director, Student Enrollment

About the role

The Assistant Director, Student Enrollment will manage a caseload of prospective, applicant, and newly admitted students, focusing on Northeastern Online degree and certificate programs. This fully remote position provides personalized counseling, supports the enrollment funnel, and ensures high‑quality service throughout the admissions process.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prospective students with detailed information on programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, registration, and visa support.
• Guide applicants through the admissions process, ensuring complete and accurate application submissions.
• Assist newly admitted students with initial course registration and program orientation.
• Conduct outbound call and email campaigns to meet enrollment targets.
• Maintain accurate records of all student interactions in the CRM and generate activity reports.
• Support the Enrollment Management Contact Center by handling inbound calls and providing backup coverage.
• Monitor and manage online inquiry channels, including email and SMS inboxes.
• Participate in virtual open houses, information sessions, and recruitment events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in student enrollment, non‑traditional admissions, or sales.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, metric‑driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel.
