Assistant Community Manager – The Madison at Stetson Hills

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Madison at Stetson Hills. This full‑time position involves accounting, rent collection, vendor coordination, and resident relations to ensure smooth community operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite property management software, entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate approvals.
• Assist with eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation.
• Handle resident move‑outs, applying deposits and fees according to policy.
• Respond to resident complaints and requests promptly to promote satisfaction and retention.
• Supervise on‑site operations in the Community Manager’s absence, coordinating maintenance and daily work.
• Support owner relations by providing performance updates and conducting community tours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in residence life or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms, collections, and enforcement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata).
• Strong skills in internet use, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
• Valid driver’s license for on‑site mobility.
