Assistant Community Manager – The Dakota

About the role

The Dakota community is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join Greystar’s property management team in Lacey, Washington. Working closely with the Community Manager, you will help ensure smooth financial and operational performance of the apartment complex.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in day‑to‑day community operations.
• Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including monthly close‑out and financial reporting.
• Process invoices, collect rent, fees and other payments, and prepare bank deposits.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records using the property management software.
• Support resident relations and address routine service requests.

Required profile

• Prior experience in community management, property management, or related hospitality roles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.

• Proficiency with property management software.
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
