About the role
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Beverly at Shadow Lake community. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, prepares monthly close‑out reports, and ensures accurate financial tracking using property management software.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments daily.
- Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
- Process invoices, payables, and generate financial reports.
- Complete month‑end close‑out and produce financial statements.
- Maintain accurate records in the Yardi (or similar) property management system.
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and account reconciliations.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Ability to work independently while supporting the Community Manager.
- Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Yardi or comparable property management software.
