Assistant Community Manager (River House)

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational functions of the River House community. This role handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, rent collection, invoicing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and process month‑end close‑out.
• Generate financial reports and track community financial performance.
• Enter and update transactions in Yardi/OneSite, maintaining data integrity.
• Review resident accounts for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms.
• Review, code, and submit vendor invoices for payment after verification.
• Follow established eviction procedures, attend court hearings when required, and represent the community.
• Process resident move‑outs, ensuring proper lease termination and final accounting.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and owners.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures accurately.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi/OneSite property management software.
