Assistant Community Manager – Presley Oaks

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Presley Oaks community. This position handles daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments, and prepare daily bank deposits.
• Reconcile bank accounts and produce monthly close‑out financial reports.
• Enter and update transactions in Yardi/OneSite, maintaining data integrity and performing system backups.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents on delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, obtain Community Manager approval, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Follow established eviction procedures, issue proper notices, and represent the community in court hearings when required.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with a solid foundation in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the Community Manager.
• Familiarity with property management processes and financial documentation.
