Leasing Professional – The Winnifred

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for The Winnifred community, driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention. The role involves guiding prospects through the leasing process, ensuring resident satisfaction, and securing lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance tasks.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing using platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekend shifts.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate effectively with prospects and residents.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitive positioning.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with internet marketing tools, including Craigslist and Facebook.
