Assistant Community Manager – Artisan at Village of Escaya

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a 220‑unit stabilized community. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑6 pm, and includes a 20% housing discount.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Operate property‑management software (Yardi/OneSite) to enter transactions, generate reports, and maintain system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Process vendor invoices, code charges, and coordinate payments with community manager approval.
• Assist with evictions, move‑out processing, and resident satisfaction initiatives.
• Supervise on‑site operations in the community manager’s absence, including maintenance coordination.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in community or property management, preferably with Yardi Voyager or similar CRM systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and detail‑oriented work style.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi Voyager, OneSite, or comparable property‑management software.
• Experience using internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
