About the role
Veritas Christian Academy is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Girls Golf team. The role supports the head coach in developing student‑athletes in a Christ‑centered environment, emphasizing both athletic growth and spiritual formation.
Key responsibilities
- Integrate biblical principles into team culture and lead regular prayers with individual athletes and the team.
- Prioritize character, sportsmanship, citizenship, and academic responsibility over winning.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise all practices, ensuring a safe and structured environment.
- Monitor player safety, document minor injuries, and promptly report serious injuries to the Athletic Director, trainer, and school nurse.
- Maintain consistent communication with players, parents, and school administration using established systems.
