Assistant Category Manager

About the role

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an analytical Assistant Category Manager to join its DEWALT Category Team in a full‑time remote capacity. The role focuses on driving brand growth, supporting product strategy, and optimizing portfolio profitability across enterprise solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales metrics, market trends and competitive product landscapes to identify portfolio expansion opportunities.
• Evaluate product pricing and partner with pricing teams to establish competitive, margin‑improving pricing frameworks.
• Develop financial forecasts for category performance, product range assessments and launch planning.
• Track budget allocations, evaluate SKU profitability and support long‑term category growth strategies.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver recommendations on product assortments, brand positioning and commercial launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Demonstrated exposure to category management, portfolio optimization, business analytics or product strategy.

Required skills

• High analytical capability in market research, SKU management and financial modeling.
• Proficiency with data reporting tools and competitor mapping.
