About the role

The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in delivering exceptional member experiences and overseeing daily operations at the Knotts Berry Farm location. This role plays a key part in driving membership growth, managing risk, and ensuring operational integrity within a complex credit union environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Manager in leading the team, fostering a culture of member service, teamwork, and financial discipline.
• Oversee branch functions, including loan production, membership onboarding, and insurance and investment services.
• Develop and coach staff through formal observations, one‑on‑ones, and skill‑building activities.
• Resolve escalated member inquiries promptly and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Promote the use of mobile and online banking platforms to enhance member convenience.
• Represent the credit union in the community, building relationships with local businesses and participating in events.
• Track and communicate performance metrics, ensuring goals are specific, measurable, attainable, and timely.

Required profile

• Proven experience in banking or credit‑union operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to meet growth and production targets.
• Commitment to delivering the Wescom member experience.
