Assembler II – 2nd Shift

About the role

As an integral member of the team, you will assemble gasket plate heat exchangers, turning components into finished products. The role requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow blueprints and instructions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to assemble components according to standard operating procedures and blueprints.
• Perform quality checks, document processes, and report any safety, quality, or equipment deviations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while participating in daily 5S routines.
• Engage in continuous‑improvement activities such as Kaizen, problem‑resolution processes, and cross‑training.
• Lift and move raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or with lifts, including crane and forklift operation.
• Accurately record production data and quality documentation per company and customer standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED minimum.
• Crane and forklift certifications (preferred) and ability to pass industrial vehicle tests.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lb and perform repetitive tasks safely.
• Willingness to read safety data sheets and follow PPE requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing orders.
• Operation of industrial vehicles such as cranes, forklifts, and joysticks.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
• Understanding of safety procedures and personal protective equipment usage.
