Assembler I – CUG (3rd Shift)

About the role

As an integral member of the team, you will assemble gasket plate heat exchangers on the 3rd shift, using tools, diagrams and blueprints to build components. The position involves performing quality checks, documenting processes and maintaining a clean workspace while collaborating with fellow assemblers.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect assembled parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Complete production forms, reports and record assembly data.
• Follow daily work assignments and execute production using Standard Operating Procedures and blueprints.
• Report any safety, quality, parts or equipment deviations to status boards and update the team leader.
• Identify waste‑elimination opportunities and drive Kaizen improvements.
• Participate in daily 5S routines and maintain a tidy work area.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with willingness to follow SOPs and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work safely, report deviations promptly and engage in team meetings.

Required skills

• Blueprint reading.
• Quality inspection.
• 5S methodology.
