Armed Security Specialist II – Day & Night Shifts

About the role

We are looking for an Armed Security Specialist II to join SENTRYSIX International’s physical security team. The role involves providing armed guard services, access control, and patrols at designated facilities, supporting both day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal guard services, including vehicle and personnel entry control, roving patrols, and armed escort duties.
• Provide customer service to guests, residents, employees, and contractors.
• Screen vehicles and personnel at entry points and protect equipment and personnel.
• Maintain weapons qualification and proficiency with non‑lethal weapons.
• Operate in austere conditions for up to 12‑hour shifts.
• Complete any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and minimum age of 21.
• At least three years of verifiable experience in the U.S. military, corrections, security, or law enforcement.
• Honorable discharge (if applicable) and clean criminal record.
• Completion of Texas Private Security Level III training within 30 days or possession of a valid Texas PSB Level III license (exempt for full‑time law‑enforcement officers).

Required skills

• Weapons qualification on assigned weapon systems.
• Proficiency with non‑lethal weapons.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
