Armed Security Officer – Full‑time with $1500 Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

Provide security for patients, guests and employees at St. Mary’s Hospital, enforce company policies, and ensure a safe environment in a courteous and professional manner.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce all safety and security rules, regulations, and policies on company property.
• Conduct routine inspections of on‑site and off‑site locations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, reporting them promptly.
• Perform opening and lockdown procedures for all buildings as approved.
• Participate in emergency response drills and preparedness activities.
• Maintain required certifications and complete training within designated timeframes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record.
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) and firearms training.
• Ability to read, write and speak English and continuously patrol the facility.

Required skills

• Computer data entry and information retrieval.
• Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and keyboard use.
