About the role

Sandvik Mining is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Surface Drills covering the Western United States. The role focuses on growing the distributor network, delivering profitable growth, and positioning Sandvik as the preferred partner for boom drill and exploration solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute distributor business plans that drive profitable growth for the Surface Drills portfolio.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with distributors, acting as a trusted business partner.
• Identify market opportunities, create winning sales strategies, and align distributor activities with Sandvik’s targets.
• Champion safety leadership on Sandvik sites and customer locations, acting as a Safety Champion.
• Manage the CRM opportunity pipeline, ensuring accurate data and disciplined execution.
• Provide innovative solutions to distributors and end‑customers, positioning Sandvik ahead of competitors.
