Architect – Advanced Manufacturing (Design)

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Design Architect to join its advanced manufacturing team in a hybrid working environment. The role focuses on planning, engineering, and architectural design of state‑of‑the‑art facilities across the United States, using Revit as the primary design tool.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, plans, and detailed designs for a variety of building types.
• Produce and coordinate Revit models, integrating mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines.
• Prepare material take‑offs and quantitative data to support cost estimating.
• Conduct periodic on‑site observations to verify compliance with design documents.
• Track project scope changes and adjust construction cost projections accordingly.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; Registered Architect (RA) license required.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction detailing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven leadership ability.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
