API Test Consultant

About the role

Infosys is looking for an API Test Consultant to join its Financial Services unit in Addison, Texas. You will work on digital transformation projects for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, applying AI‑driven testing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Document and clarify business requirements during elicitation.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions.
• Develop, integrate and maintain new features in existing applications.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories and ensure system stability.
• Design and execute test strategies, analyse results and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to handle end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Proven skill in translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Passion for design, hands‑on coding and proactive testing.

Required skills

• Automated testing using Selenium with Java.
• API testing with RestAssured.
• Experience in API testing concepts and tools.
