Performance Test Consultant

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Performance Test Consultant to join its Financial Services unit. The role focuses on designing, executing and maintaining performance and API testing solutions for banking, wealth management and insurance applications. You will work on‑site at one of several US locations, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality, reliable software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements related to performance testing.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions for testable solutions.
• Develop, execute and maintain performance test scripts and API tests using tools such as RestAssured.
• Conduct code reviews, manage code repositories and integrate new features while preserving system stability.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, coordinate bug fixes and uphold quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth application adoption.
• Resolve production issues, propose preventive measures and maintain detailed testing records.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative mindset with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience handling end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
