Anti-Money Laundering Analyst

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a detail‑driven Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Analyst to join a leading cryptocurrency kiosk network. This remote, full‑time position focuses on detecting and mitigating financial crime across a global platform.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and assess financial risks associated with the kiosk network and digital platforms.
• Review transaction monitoring alerts, flag suspicious activity, and document findings in line with BSA/AML requirements.
• Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews, and screen customers against OFAC and other sanctions lists.
• Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other regulatory filings accurately and on time.
• Utilize blockchain analytics tools to trace cryptocurrency transactions and evaluate counter‑party risk.
• Communicate with regulators and auditors to explain risk monitoring and control techniques.
• Report risk‑mitigation performance metrics and surface trends for leadership action.
• Examine internal data, systems, and processes to ensure AML program compliance and recommend improvements.
• Stay current on evolving AML/BSA regulations, FinCEN guidance, and crypto‑specific compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in AML, BSA compliance, fraud investigation, or a related financial‑crime role.
• Background in fintech, money‑service‑business, exchange, or financial institution is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of AML/BSA regulations, KYC, CDD, and sanctions screening.

Required skills

• Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools.
• Experience using transaction monitoring and regulatory filing systems.
