Android Engineer – Government Products

About the role

Join the Government Products team at Robinhood to build a world‑class Android experience that expands market access for the next generation of Americans. You will develop secure, intuitive features for a historic national initiative, collaborating with product, design, backend and data partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build smooth, stable, and elegant Android products using Kotlin and the latest Android APIs.
• Own features from inception through design, implementation, testing, and launch.
• Work cross‑functionally with product designers, product managers, backend developers, and data engineers.
• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of mobile experiences for millions of customers.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and maintain high code quality.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience building consumer applications at scale.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end features in a fast‑moving, high‑performing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a passion for financial inclusion.
